Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its team. The practice provides comprehensive care for companion animals, combining general practice with same-day urgent care during regular business hours. The hospital focuses on personalized medicine, compassionate care, and developing lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied small animal caseload encompassing wellness and preventative medicine, sick and injury visits, urgent care, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, imaging, and pain management. Responsibilities include providing high-quality, individualized patient care, educating clients, and developing long-term client relationships. The veterinarian will work collaboratively with the wider team while maintaining medical autonomy in the management of their cases. Flexible scheduling is available with an emphasis on work-life balance.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Diagnostic capabilities include an in-house laboratory, bloodwork and laboratory testing, CBC and blood chemistry testing, thyroid and hormone testing, infectious disease screening, urinalysis, fecal testing, digital radiography, and ultrasound imaging. Services include wellness examinations, vaccinations, parasite prevention and control, nutritional counseling, sick and injury care, dentistry, surgery, spay and neuter procedures, diagnostics and imaging, pain management, and same-day urgent care. The practice provides access to additional medical resources, mentorship, continuing education, and professional development opportunities.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
