Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian position. The clinic provides comprehensive veterinary care and is seeking a veterinarian to deliver high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care as part of a patient-focused and team-oriented environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and is closed on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday. The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis. After-hours or emergency requirements are to be discussed with the practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing excellent patient care through physical examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care tailored to each patient’s signalment, lifestyle, and environment. The role follows a problem-based medical approach, requiring complete problem lists, differential diagnoses, diagnostic plans, and appropriate treatments based on diagnostic findings. Responsibilities include thorough and accurate medical record documentation, routine and complex surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, abdominal exploratory surgeries, and mass removals, as well as routine and advanced dental procedures including dental radiograph evaluation and extractions. The role also involves developing treatment plans for hospitalized patients, coordinating overnight care when required, and communicating with referral hospitals to ensure continuity of care. The patient’s needs always come first, with a strong emphasis on exceptional customer experience, timely issue resolution, and teamwork toward shared goals.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a wide range of veterinary services supporting both preventive and advanced care. Services include routine checkups and vaccinations, comprehensive wellness exams, diagnostics and bloodwork, early disease detection, dental care, flea, tick and heartworm prevention, treatment of illness and injury, cancer treatment, end-of-life care, imaging, surgery, and dentistry. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
