Introduction
Our client is a Fear Free Certified veterinary hospital seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join its team. The practice provides comprehensive care across a diverse caseload, ranging from preventative wellness and primary care through to surgery, internal medicine, diagnostics, and emergency cases. The hospital has served its client base for more than two decades and has recently undergone a comprehensive transformation to create an updated facility supporting advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care across preventative wellness, primary care, internal medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, general and soft tissue surgery, hospitalization, and emergency cases. Additional clinical opportunities include reproductive services, geriatric medicine, pain management, behavior and nutritional counseling, and management of canine and feline diabetes. The hospital’s varied caseload provides opportunities to manage both routine and more complex patients, with access to advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities. The position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The recently upgraded facility offers digital radiography, diagnostic ultrasound, EKG, OFA radiography, therapeutic laser, an in-house laboratory, an in-house pharmacy, an in-office surgical suite, intensive care capabilities, and an isolation ward. Services include preventative and primary care, wellness and senior care, vaccinations, parasite prevention, internal medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue and general surgery, reproductive services, hospitalization, pain management, allergy and dermatology care, euthanasia and pet loss support, and emergency cases. The practice is Fear Free Certified and uses Fear Free techniques to minimize patient stress and provide a more comfortable environment for pets and their owners.

Team
The hospital currently has one DVM working alongside a skilled and supportive wider team. The culture emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and a positive working environment, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and maintaining trusted relationships with an established client base.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
