Job Description

Introduction
A growing small animal hospital in Thornton, Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative, doctor-led team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to step into a well-equipped, community-focused practice that supports both small animal and exotic care, with flexibility to tailor your caseload to your clinical interests.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm, with the rota structured to provide a balanced schedule and consistent work-life balance within a full-time role.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload including wellness, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry, with the opportunity to focus purely on small animal medicine or incorporate exotics if desired, while delivering high-quality care, building strong client relationships, and collaborating closely with the clinical team.

This modern, well-equipped hospital offers advanced tools including ultrasound, digital and dental radiography, therapeutic lasers, and a fully equipped surgical suite, supporting a wide range of procedures from routine care to more advanced surgeries, with strong earning potential and additional benefits available.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
