Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their small animal practice. The hospital is AAHA accredited, reflecting its commitment to the highest standards of veterinary care, and provides comprehensive services for dogs and cats within a modern and collaborative clinical environment. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian looking to practice high-quality medicine in a well-equipped facility with a diverse caseload.

Working Hours / Rota
The position offers full-time or part-time flexibility. Hospital hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the hospital closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will perform comprehensive patient examinations, diagnose medical conditions, and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic procedures, conducting surgical procedures, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role also involves client communication and education, monitoring hospitalized cases, and participating in daily rounds to ensure high standards of care. The veterinarian will collaborate closely with the clinical team and hospital leadership to support efficient hospital operations and maintain a strong team environment. This role is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital operates within a 10,000+ sq ft state-of-the-art facility designed to support comprehensive small animal medicine. The practice is AAHA accredited and equipped with in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, and an on-site pharmacy, allowing for efficient diagnostics and treatment planning. Services offered include preventive care, spay and neuter procedures, diagnostic laboratory services, urgent care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, pet boarding, grooming, wellness plans, nutritional counseling, behavior training, and care for puppies, kittens, and senior pets. The hospital emphasizes collaborative medicine and provides a diverse caseload spanning wellness, urgent care, and surgical procedures.

Team
The hospital has 2 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive environment where veterinarians and staff work closely together to deliver compassionate patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
