Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. This well-established full-service veterinary hospital offers a collaborative environment, a varied medical and surgical caseload, and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients, clients, and the local community.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative care for companion animals while managing a varied caseload of appointments and surgeries. Responsibilities include delivering relationship-based patient care, collaborating with the clinical team and leadership, building strong client relationships, supporting the development of veterinary support staff through the internal LevelUp training program, and contributing to the continued growth of the practice within the Thomasville community. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates who are looking to develop their clinical skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Practice Details
This full-service, AAHA-accredited, feline-friendly small animal hospital has been serving Thomasville and the surrounding communities for over 25 years. The practice is committed to providing individualized care and customised treatment plans while maintaining a collaborative culture focused on exceptional patient care. The hospital is equipped with modern veterinary technology, including K-laser therapy, digital radiography, ultrasound, a dedicated surgical suite, laser surgery capabilities, and in-house diagnostic testing. Services include wellness care, sick and urgent care, dentistry, end-of-life care, laboratory and diagnostic services, microchipping, pain management, parasite prevention, reproduction, and surgery. In addition to its veterinary services, the facility also includes a boarding facility and doggie day camp. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

Team
The hospital is home to a team of four DVMs supported by a great tenured support staff. The practice fosters a collaborative environment where veterinarians and support staff work closely together to deliver high-quality patient care while encouraging mentorship, professional development, and long-term career growth.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
