Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a feline-only veterinary practice hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This clinic is dedicated exclusively to cat care and is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities, including a mix of wellness care, diagnostics, and surgery. The position is suited to an experienced veterinarian. Appointments are scheduled at 40-minute intervals, allowing ample time for workups and client communication. Specific working hours are open to discussion, but there are no weekend requirements.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on weekends. The practice is well-equipped with ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, laparoscope, endoscope, otoscope, digital dental X-ray, and digital X-ray, though equipment is not limited to these. Facilities include a state-of-the-art surgical suite. The clinic provides the full scope of general practice services and also offers cat boarding.

Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs and a great group of support staff, including a combination of Fear Free Certified and Cat Friendly Veterinary Professionals, contributing to a supportive and collaborative environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
