Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Templeton, CA. This modern practice is dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary medicine in a supportive and family-friendly environment, serving a wide range of patients from cats and dogs to exotics and even some wildlife.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and is closed on Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care, including general practice and urgent care cases. Daily duties will involve wellness care, dentistry, diagnostics, minor surgeries, and client communication. This position is best suited for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys a diverse caseload and values working collaboratively in a supportive environment.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with a dedicated dental suite with new MidMark Progeny DR sensor, two fully equipped surgery suites, and an in-house laboratory for quick diagnostics. Services offered include general medicine, dentistry, surgery, urgent care, preventive medicine, and treatment for a variety of species including canine, feline, avian, reptiles, aquatics, backyard fowl, and some wildlife. The practice culture emphasizes teamwork, client education, and community connection.
Team
There are 5 DVMs supported by a skilled team of registered veterinary technicians and assistants who foster a collaborative and career-focused environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
