Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Caring for cats, dogs, avian species, and exotic pets, this opportunity offers a diverse and rewarding caseload within a well-equipped practice. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates looking to grow their clinical skills in a collaborative environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian is responsible for delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to companion animals while building strong relationships with clients through clear communication and education. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, performing routine soft tissue surgeries and dentistry where applicable, managing medical records accurately, and collaborating with the wider veterinary team to ensure the highest standard of patient care. The Associate Veterinarian will also promote preventative healthcare, maintain compliance with hospital protocols, and contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented working environment. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Saturday from 8:00am to 5:30pm and is closed on Sundays.
The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical technology to support high-quality companion animal, avian, and exotic animal medicine. Veterinarians have access to a comprehensive in-house laboratory for rapid blood work and diagnostic testing, digital radiography (X-ray), digital dental radiography, ultrasound, advanced anesthesia monitoring equipment, and modern surgical facilities. These resources enable the team to efficiently diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions while supporting preventive care, dentistry, and routine surgical procedures.
The hospital provides a purpose-designed environment for companion animal, avian, and exotic animal care. The facility features dedicated examination rooms, a fully equipped treatment area, surgical suites, in-house laboratory capabilities, advanced diagnostic imaging, dental facilities, and comfortable patient care spaces, allowing veterinarians to manage a broad range of wellness, medical, and surgical cases in an efficient clinical setting.
The hospital provides a comprehensive range of veterinary services for dogs, cats, birds, and exotic pets, offering a varied medical and surgical caseload. Services include wellness examinations, vaccinations, parasite prevention and control, dentistry with digital dental radiography, spays and neuters, soft tissue surgery, in-house diagnostics, ultrasound, diagnostic imaging, nutritional counselling, senior pet care, behavioral guidance, emergency and urgent care during business hours, end-of-life care, and the ongoing management of acute and chronic medical conditions. An online pharmacy and prescription diet service support convenient continuation of care for clients.
Established in 2014, the hospital has earned an excellent 4.9-star Google rating and are AAHA accredited.

The hospital currently has six veterinarians and is supported by an experienced team of registered veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and client care professionals who work collaboratively to provide high-quality, compassionate care. The team has more than 50 years of combined veterinary experience and is committed to creating a welcoming environment for both clients and patients.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
