Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for cats and dogs and is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join its founding clinical team ahead of its opening in early 2027. This is a unique opportunity to help establish a brand-new hospital while shaping its culture, standards of medicine, workflows, and client experience in a modern, collaborative environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for companion animals while practicing progressive, Fear Free medicine. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, digital imaging and diagnostics, and urgent same-day appointments as scheduling allows. The role also involves collaborating with referral hospitals when advanced care is required and contributing to the development of the hospital’s culture and clinical standards. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Experienced veterinarians who can practice independently are encouraged to apply, while new graduates will receive individualised mentorship.

Practice Details
The hospital is designed to support a four-day workweek with flexible scheduling, no on-call responsibilities, protected lunch breaks, and dedicated callback time built into the schedule. Patients are not hospitalised overnight, allowing the team to finish at the end of the working day. The practice will be equipped with digital radiology, digital dental radiology, ultrasound, IDEXX in-house diagnostics, modern anaesthesia monitoring, AI scribe technology, and a fully digital workflow. Services include wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, digital imaging and diagnostics, urgent same-day care, and Fear Free patient handling, with collaboration alongside leading specialty hospitals for advanced referrals. The hospital is being purpose-built to support exceptional patient care, teamwork, continuous learning, and long-term growth, with an approximate technician-to-doctor ratio of 2:1 supported by dedicated assistants and client service representatives.

Team
The hospital is building a highly supported, collaborative team where veterinarians will work alongside the founding Medical Director, veterinary technicians, assistants, and client service representatives. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
