Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their well-established small animal team. This full-service veterinary clinic provides compassionate, high-quality care to dogs and cats and is committed to personalized medicine, strong client relationships, and a collaborative working culture.
Working Hours / Rota
This position offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The practice operates Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on weekends. Boarding pick-up is available on weekends, but after-hours clinical services are to be discussed with the practice.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care including wellness and preventive services, diagnostics, surgery, dermatology, behavioral support, and urgent care. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, developing treatment plans, delivering surgical procedures, and ensuring high standards of patient care and client communication. The role is open to experienced veterinarians or new graduates, within a supportive and team-oriented environment focused on practicing quality medicine with integrity and compassion.
Practice Details
This is a locally owned, full-service small animal clinic dedicated to delivering personalized, patient-centered care in a low-stress environment. The practice is AAHA-accredited and follows Fear Free principles. Services include wellness care, dental care, nutritional counseling, boarding, in-house diagnostics, microchipping, parasite prevention, senior pet care, surgery, urgent care, vaccinations, and specialist care. The hospital is well-equipped and supported by a loyal client base, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and clinical excellence.
Team
The practice currently has 4 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere where doctors and staff enjoy working together.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
