Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This is a modern small animal practice with a loyal client base and a collaborative team environment, offering the opportunity to deliver thoughtful, high-quality care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and is closed on Saturday and Sunday. The role offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time scheduling.

Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will examine animals to assess their health, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans. Responsibilities include treating and dressing wounds, performing surgery, testing for and vaccinating against diseases, operating medical equipment such as x-ray machines, advising pet owners on general care and treatment options, and prescribing medication. You will work closely with team members to provide high-quality, collaborative patient care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Founded in 1988 and rebuilt in 2015, this small animal practice provides comprehensive general practice care with a strong emphasis on surgery. The facility includes dedicated surgical space, separate dog and cat treatment areas, modern exam rooms, and access to an established clientele supported by an experienced team. Services offered include wellness care, dental care, surgical services, diagnostics, end-of-life care, laboratory services, microchipping, nutrition, pharmacy, and urgent care. The practice prioritizes comfortable appointment pacing, supportive technician assistance, collaborative communication, predictable scheduling, and a positive, team-oriented culture.

The hospital has 1 DVM supported by a strong and tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
