Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This full-service general practice cares for cats and dogs, with very occasional cases involving ferrets if the doctor is comfortable.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday and Tuesday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Wednesday from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays. The doctor schedule is open to discussion, and the hospital is considering both full-time and part-time applicants.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing a full range of general practice services. The role is open to experienced veterinarians as well as new graduates, who will receive dedicated mentorship and support as they begin their careers.

Practice Details
The hospital sees a great patient mix and is equipped with advanced technology, including cold laser therapy, dermatology tools, digital radiology, a tonopen, ultrasound, and more. The practice operates as a full-service general practice, providing comprehensive care in a well-supported environment.

Team
The team includes four DVMs and a strong support staff. The hospital fosters a collaborative and supportive culture focused on mentorship and teamwork.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
