Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a practice providing full-service primary veterinary care for dogs and cats in Swansea, Massachusetts, and is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join the team. The practice is open to both full-time and part-time applicants and is a brand-new small animal facility focused on providing personal, high-quality care within a positive and team-oriented environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care, including wellness visits, sick visits, diagnostics, vaccinations, spay and neuter surgery, flea and tick prevention, dentistry, and oral care. Responsibilities include building strong client relationships through clear communication and compassionate care, collaborating with veterinary colleagues and support staff to achieve excellent patient outcomes, maintaining accurate medical records, upholding ethical standards of care, and contributing to the development of clinical protocols and workflows. This position is specifically for an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The practice provides comprehensive primary and preventive veterinary services, including ongoing health management, diagnostics, minor surgery, dentistry, and preventive care. As a brand-new facility, it offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of a new veterinary practice while benefiting from access to an established support network. A partner emergency hospital is located approximately half a mile away for patients requiring emergency care. The practice is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Team
The practice currently has one DVM and a great tenured support team. The Associate Veterinarian will work closely with experienced veterinarians, technicians, support staff, and hospital leadership within a collaborative environment focused on teamwork, high-quality patient care, and creating a positive experience for clients and their pets.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
