Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join their AAHA-accredited small animal practice. This hospital provides care for canine and feline patients and is looking for a veterinarian to deliver comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care within a collaborative and well-established environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and is closed on weekends. This is a full-time position with no weekend, on-call, or overnight requirements, supporting a strong work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing comprehensive care for small animal patients, including wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. Responsibilities include managing a varied caseload, delivering high-quality patient care, and collaborating with the veterinary team to ensure positive outcomes. The position supports a progressive and client-focused approach to medicine within a well-supported clinical setting.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA-accredited and offers a wide range of services including wellness care, dental care, urgent care, and weekday emergency services. The facility includes 10 exam rooms and is equipped with advanced technology such as ultrasound, dental and general digital radiography, a fully equipped in-house laboratory, and lift tables. Additional services include boarding, dermatology and allergy management, laser therapy, general and advanced surgery including orthopedic and soft tissue procedures, diagnostics, and preventive care. The practice also collaborates with specialists in radiology, oncology, surgery, cardiology, and dermatology, ensuring access to advanced expertise when required.

Team
The team consists of 8 DVMs supported by a large and experienced support staff. The environment is collaborative and positive, with a strong focus on teamwork, patient care, and staff well-being.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
