Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their small animal practice. This full-service animal hospital has been providing comprehensive veterinary care to the Sun Prairie community since 2013, offering services ranging from wellness and prevention to advanced surgical procedures and urgent care. The practice is seeking a veterinarian who values patient advocacy, collaborative medicine, and the opportunity to continue growing within a supportive and highly respected team environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal care including wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and urgent care services. The role offers exposure to a wide range of time-sensitive and complex cases, supporting continuous professional growth in diagnostics and treatment planning. Veterinarians will work closely with experienced DVMs and collaborate on patient care while building strong client relationships and maintaining high standards of medicine. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking mentorship and clinical development.

Practice Details
This full-service animal hospital offers wellness and prevention services, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and urgent care services seven days a week. The practice provides a collaborative environment with access to internal consultation and high-level case discussion alongside experienced veterinarians, including a credentialed specialist. The hospital emphasizes comprehensive patient care, professional growth, and a supportive culture where teamwork is essential to patient success. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Team
The practice currently has 5 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team. The environment is collaborative, mentorship-focused, and designed to support veterinarians at all stages of their careers.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
