Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their modern small animal practice. The hospital provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats, offering wellness, urgent services, and advanced surgical procedures in a patient-centered environment. This opportunity is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, providing strong mentorship and career development support.
Working Hours / Rota
The position offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will lead patient care from diagnosis through treatment, managing wellness exams, preventive medicine, diagnostic evaluations, urgent care cases, and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include educating clients, building long-term relationships with pet owners, collaborating with a skilled paraprofessional team, and maintaining high standards of patient care. The role supports both routine and advanced case management in a well-equipped setting. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
This state-of-the-art, wheelchair-accessible facility opened in August 2023 and includes five examination rooms, a dedicated x-ray room, advanced dental radiograph equipment, and a fully equipped surgery suite. Services include Wellness & Prevention, Testing & Diagnostics, Advanced Care, Surgical Procedures, and Urgent Care. The hospital emphasizes early detection, advanced diagnostics, modern surgical capabilities, and a streamlined workflow designed to support high-quality, efficient medicine.
Team
The practice currently has 4 DVMs and a supportive team, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes mentorship, teamwork, and exceptional patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
