Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a privately owned veterinary hospital that has been in the same family since 1980. The hospital is looking to hire a part-time Associate Veterinarian, ideally for 26–32 hours per week, although they would consider someone looking for full-time work. The hospital offers grooming and boarding services and is looking for a veterinarian who can perform basic surgery and is willing to be trained in dentistry.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide general veterinary care, including wellness and preventative care, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, routine surgery, dentistry, vaccinations, internal medicine, client communication and developing treatment plans. The position is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is comfortable working alone occasionally.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8am–6pm and Saturday from 8am–2pm, and is closed Sundays. The practice has ultrasound, digital and dental X-rays, in-house IDEXX and Antech laboratories, five exam rooms, and dedicated dental and surgery suites. Services include skin conditions, preventative care, surgery, dentistry and other general veterinary treatments. The hospital also offers grooming and boarding.

Team
The hospital has 4 DVMs and a 2.1 support staff-to-doctor ratio, along with additional floaters.
