Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats and has been serving the community since opening in 2014, establishing itself as a well-respected practice. They are looking for a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care while treating and diagnosing patients. The role includes performing surgery and dentistry, as well as building strong relationships with clients through excellent communication. The hospital is open to discussing scheduling preferences to create a schedule that works for the successful candidate. Applications are welcomed from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available to support professional development.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday mornings until 2:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. It is an AAHA-accredited hospital offering services including preventative medicine, diagnostic care, surgery, dentistry, cold laser therapy, pet emergencies, senior pet care, and puppy and kitten care. The practice is equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiographs, a surgery suite, and an imaging room to support the delivery of high-quality veterinary care.

Team
The team consists of two veterinarians supported by a fantastic and highly experienced team of support staff who work collaboratively to provide exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
