Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. This established veterinary hospital provides comprehensive care for cats and dogs, along with a diverse caseload that includes small mammals, rabbits, ferrets, and birds. The hospital is looking for a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care while building strong relationships with clients and supporting the human-animal bond. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care across a varied caseload. Responsibilities include wellness examinations, vaccinations, dentistry, surgery, senior pet care, emergency cases, and reproductive services. The role includes performing routine and general practice surgeries, providing canine and feline dentistry, and managing a broad range of preventive and medical cases. Exposure to reproductive cases is available, and an interest in canine reproduction is welcomed. You will work closely with clients to educate them on their pets’ health and treatment options while fostering strong, lasting relationships. Flexible scheduling is available, with appointments scheduled in 20 to 30-minute blocks and no expectation to stay late or be on call. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
Founded in 1983, this modern five-doctor hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for cats, dogs, and a variety of exotic species including rabbits, ferrets, and birds. The hospital is equipped with in-house IDEXX laboratory capabilities, digital dental radiography, traditional digital radiography, in-house ultrasound, and advanced diagnostic equipment that supports efficient and thorough patient care. Facilities and services include wellness exams, vaccinations, dentistry, surgery, reproduction services, exotic animal medicine, senior pet care, and emergency care. The practice also has access to local specialty and emergency referral hospitals, as well as a travelling specialist ultrasonographer for complex diagnostic workups. A special interest in canine reproduction has helped establish a unique caseload that attracts clients from a wide geographic area. The hospital operates Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a scheduled daily lunch break from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. The culture is team-oriented, inclusive, and focused on maintaining a healthy work-life balance while delivering compassionate care to patients and clients.

Team
The hospital is staffed by 5 DVMs and a support team consisting of 6 licensed technicians, 6 veterinary assistants, 6 client service representatives, and 1 kennel attendant. With a 2.5-to-1 staff-to-doctor ratio, veterinarians receive excellent clinical support and work within a collaborative environment where teamwork, respect, and patient care are highly valued.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
