Introduction
Our client is a hospital that is hiring a part-time, small animal Associate Veterinarian to join its established mixed animal practice. Established in 1952 and serving a five-state area, the hospital has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality veterinary care across a broad range of species. While the practice cares for companion animals, equine patients, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry, and other livestock, this position will focus on a small animal caseload within a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position offers the opportunity to perform the full scope of general practice veterinary medicine within a small animal caseload. Responsibilities will include preventative care, diagnostics, treatment planning, medical case management, and client communication while maintaining a high standard of patient care. This opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced veterinarian seeking a part-time role within a well-established practice that offers a diverse clinical environment and access to extensive resources.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed on weekends. The practice provides the full scope of GP services across a variety of species, alongside 24-hour emergency services for equine patients, creating a unique and dynamic veterinary environment. The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic technology including, but not limited to, an extensive IDEXX in-house laboratory, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, and ultrasound. The modern facility is designed to provide top-notch care for haul-in patients and features multiple exam rooms, an internal medicine wing for ultrasounds, 2 ICU stalls equipped with oxygen and cameras, a dedicated surgery wing with an induction room, surgery suite, and 2 recovery rooms, as well as an isolation room, 10 hospital stalls, 15 reproduction stalls, and a round pen for lameness patients.

Team
You will work alongside three experienced DVMs, including a board-certified equine surgeon, supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Together, the team works cohesively to provide the highest level of client and patient care. The collaborative environment encourages mentorship, teamwork, and professional development, creating a supportive workplace where veterinarians can continue to build their clinical expertise while working alongside experienced colleagues.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
