Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their full-service small animal general practice. The hospital provides comprehensive companion animal care, offering a broad mix of preventive medicine, dentistry, routine and advanced soft tissue surgery, orthopedic procedures, and rehabilitation services. With a diverse and steady caseload ranging from wellness to higher-acuity general practice cases, this opportunity is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, including students and new graduates with dedicated mentorship available.

Working Hours / Rota
The role offers full-time, part-time, or relief flexibility. The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm, Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Saturday from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied small animal caseload including wellness exams, preventive care, dentistry, internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, emergency cases, and advanced diagnostics. Responsibilities include performing surgical procedures, utilizing digital radiology and ultrasound, providing advanced dental care, supporting rehabilitation and pain management programs, and delivering clear, compassionate client communication. The role emphasizes collaborative case planning, high-quality anesthesia monitoring, and adherence to modern medical standards. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital features modern in-house diagnostics and advanced medical technology, including digital radiology, digital dental X-rays, ultrasound, endoscopy, video otoscopy, laser surgery, cold laser therapy, stem cell therapy, oxygen and transfusion therapy, Tonopen, in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, surgical suite, isolation ward, and anesthesia monitoring equipment. On-site rehabilitation services support advanced pain management and post-operative care. Services include Advanced Dental Care, Animal Rehabilitation, Bone and Joint Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Internal Medicine, Emergency Care, Preventive Medicine, Full Diagnostics, and Hospice Care.

The hospital is supported by 3 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative environment with strong technician support and shared case planning.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
