Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire an experienced DVM to join their full-service small animal practice. They see dogs and cats.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The practice is closed on Saturday and Sunday. The opportunity is full-time.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The veterinarian will be responsible for general and surgical care including wellness exams, vaccinations, illness/injury treatment, spay and neuter procedures, pet surgery, dental care, parasite prevention, deworming, pain management, and preventative care. The role will also support specialty services such as laser therapy and rehabilitation, and additional services including boarding, daycare, pharmacy and grooming when required. The position is intended for an experienced DVM.

Their services include general veterinary care, pet surgery (from routine to advanced), dentistry, wellness and preventative care, diagnostics and imaging, rehabilitation/laser therapy, boarding/daycare, pharmacy and medical grooming. Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
