Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a well-established AAHA-accredited practice in Stockton, California, seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their team on a part-time basis. This full-service veterinary hospital has been delivering exceptional care to pets and their families for over 40 years in a spacious and welcoming facility.

Working Hours / Rota
The ideal schedule for this part-time role is two days per week, preferably Friday and Saturday, or Friday and one additional weekday. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and is closed on weekends, except for this part-time flexibility.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical care across routine exams, preventive medicine, dentistry, diagnostics, and general surgery. The role is suited to an experienced clinician committed to strong client communication and collaborative care.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited facility is equipped with in-house diagnostics including digital radiography, ultrasound, ECG/EKG, bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal testing, and digital dental x-rays. Services offered include wellness exams, internal medicine, dentistry, diagnostics, and grooming. The clinic fosters a compassionate and professional culture, prioritizing both patient care and team support.

Team
The team consists of experienced DVMs and a skilled support staff working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. The practice is known for its long-standing community relationships and dedication to quality veterinary care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
