Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care to a wide variety of patients while building trusted relationships with clients through education, communication, and personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing wellness and preventative care, developing treatment recommendations, and collaborating closely with a supportive paraprofessional team. The role offers exposure to a broad range of cases including urgent care, advanced medicine, internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, pain management, and behavioral medicine. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work with exotic pets, pocket pets, and rabbits in addition to traditional small animal patients. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service veterinary practice committed to delivering advanced patient care through a combination of preventative medicine, diagnostics, urgent care, and surgical services. Diagnostic capabilities include blood and laboratory testing, digital radiography, ultrasound, tonometry, electrocardiography, and blood transfusion services. Advanced care services include internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, ophthalmology, endocrinology, orthopedics, pain management, laser therapy, and behavior therapy. Surgical offerings include spay and neuter procedures, cranial cruciate ligament repair, mass removals, dental surgery, orthopedic procedures, and other soft tissue surgeries. The practice also provides dedicated care for exotic pets, pocket pets, and rabbits, including wellness examinations, diagnostics, parasite prevention, vaccinations, and surgical procedures. The hospital fosters a collaborative culture focused on professional development, teamwork, and delivering exceptional patient care. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and the practice is closed on weekends.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
