This AAHA-accredited animal hospital in Stanwood, Washington is hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join its established five-doctor team. Serving the local community for more than 100 years, the practice has built a strong reputation for delivering compassionate, high-quality veterinary care across every stage of a pet’s life. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for companion animals while building long-term relationships with clients and delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include preventative medicine, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, dentistry, client communication, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role also involves collaborating closely with the Hospital Manager and experienced clinical team to uphold the hospital’s high standards of care. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, Wednesday through Saturday, supporting an excellent work-life balance.

Practice Details
This full-service small animal hospital provides preventative care, wellness examinations, vaccinations, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, and senior pet care for dogs and cats. As an AAHA-accredited practice, the hospital maintains rigorous standards of veterinary excellence and is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, a full in-house laboratory, pharmacy, and advanced diagnostic capabilities to support high-quality medicine. Hospital hours are Monday through Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with the clinic closed on Sundays. The practice combines the culture and autonomy of a locally led hospital with access to the wider professional resources and continuing education opportunities available through its network.

Team
The hospital currently has a team of five veterinarians supported by experienced veterinary technicians, assistants, client service professionals, and hospital leadership. The culture emphasises collaboration, communication, and continuous professional development, creating an environment where veterinarians are well supported to provide excellent patient care while continuing to develop their clinical skills. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
