Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian role, providing dedicated care to cats and dogs. The hospital has been caring for pets in the Stafford/Sugar Land area since 1976 and is seeking a veterinarian to join their long-standing and well-established team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm. Full-time veterinarians work four days per week with a rotating Saturday schedule, reflecting a strong commitment to work/life balance. The role is open to both full-time and part-time veterinarians.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves a full scope of general practice veterinary responsibilities, including day-to-day clinical care across a varied small animal caseload. The role is suitable for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service general practice equipped with cutting-edge technology, including Ligasure, surgical and therapeutic lasers, ultrasound, and in-house bloodwork capabilities. The practice offers a full scope of general practice services and is committed to using fear-free techniques whenever possible.

Team
The veterinary team consists of two DVMs supported by a strong group of support staff, including three Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs). The team structure allows veterinarians to focus on delivering high-quality care with excellent clinical support.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
