Job Description

An AAHA-accredited, FearFree-certified veterinary clinic in St. Louis, MO is seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join a dedicated and experienced team of 15 veterinarians and 41 support staff across two locations. This not-for-profit practice supports a larger animal welfare mission, and employees may qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) through the federal government. The clinic welcomes both seasoned veterinarians and new graduates, offering strong mentorship and a supportive work environment. Typical schedules include 4 weekdays and every-other Saturday (full-time is defined as 35 hours per week). Appointment times are generally 30 minutes, with 1-hour blocks for sedated procedures, and one dedicated surgery day per week focused primarily on spay/neuter procedures. Facilities include digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound (diagnostic and therapeutic), IDEXX in-house labs, feline-exclusive exam rooms, and electronic medical records via E-Vet. The clinic also offers advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, pain management, underwater treadmill therapy, laser therapy, and chiropractic care.
