Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its team in St. Johns, Florida. Caring for dogs and cats, the hospital offers a varied medical and surgical caseload within a collaborative environment focused on exceptional, individualized patient care. This opportunity is open to veterinarians of all experience levels, including new graduates and experienced DVMs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will manage a varied caseload encompassing both appointments and surgical cases. You will provide relationship-based care, develop strong connections with clients, and collaborate closely with the clinical team and leadership. The role also involves building relationships within the practice and wider Jacksonville community while supporting the professional development of support staff through an internal training program. Both new graduates and experienced veterinarians are welcome.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with the practice closed on Sundays. Advanced technology includes digital dental radiology, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, and bladeless surgical capabilities. Services include wellness care, sick and urgent care, dentistry, end-of-life care, grooming, laboratory and diagnostic services, microchipping, pain management, parasite prevention, and surgery. The full-service veterinary hospital has served St. Johns and surrounding communities since 2002, providing medical and surgical care in a compassionate, stress-free environment. The practice focuses on individual attention and customized treatment plans, with patient comfort and well-being at the center of its approach to veterinary care.

Team
The hospital currently has 1 DVM alongside a great tenured support team. The environment is collaborative, with veterinarians working closely with the clinical team and leadership while also encouraging the continued growth and development of support staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
