Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their practice. This immersive clinical role is designed for an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about high-quality medicine, leadership, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their people.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and is closed on Sundays and Mondays. This is a full-time position. There are no after-hours or on-call schedules required.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver comprehensive patient care through physical examinations, diagnosis and treatment of disease, and preventive care tailored to patient signalment, lifestyle, and environment. The role requires a problem-based medical approach, including developing diagnostic and treatment plans, interpreting test results, and maintaining detailed medical records. Clinical responsibilities include performing routine and complex surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, abdominal exploratory surgeries, and mass removals, as well as routine and advanced dental procedures including radiographic evaluation and extractions. The veterinarian will also develop treatment plans for hospitalized patients, participate in clinical rounds, collaborate with referral hospitals when needed, and share knowledge with the team to elevate overall patient and client care. This position is open to experienced veterinarians only.

The practice is equipped with advanced medical technology including ultrasound in every hospital, heated hydraulic surgery tables, digital dental X-ray, and diagnostic imaging capabilities. Services include routine wellness and preventive care, vaccinations, flea, tick and heartworm prevention, illness and injury care, imaging, surgery, dentistry, prescription medication management, and day hospitalization. The practice culture emphasizes teamwork, accountability, problem resolution, and a shared commitment to putting patient needs first while supporting professional wellbeing and career growth.

Team
The hospital is currently supported by one DVM and a fantastic support team. The environment is collaborative and team-driven, with paraprofessional staff encouraged to expand their skill sets and actively contribute to exceptional patient and client experiences.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
