Introduction
Our client is a practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their long-established small animal team. Founded in 1979 and located in Historic Uptown St. Augustine, this full-service veterinary practice is committed to providing exceptional, compassionate care in a welcoming, home-like environment. The hospital offers comprehensive services including wellness, diagnostics, surgery, dental care, emergencies, and pain management. This opportunity is open to veterinarians of all experience levels.

Working Hours / Rota
The role offers flexibility for full-time or part-time candidates. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. The schedule is designed to respect your time, with no expectation to stay late or be on call.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied small animal caseload including wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, emergency cases, pain management, puppy and kitten care, and senior pet care. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality medicine, performing surgical and dental procedures, supporting preventive care programs, and maintaining open communication and education with clients. The hospital values teamwork, trust, and lasting relationships, and the position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

This long-standing practice combines state-of-the-art veterinary medicine with a comfortable, home-like setting. The team remains at the forefront of veterinary technology and medical advances to ensure the highest quality of care. Services offered include Wellness Care, Pet Diagnostics, Veterinary Surgery, Dental Care, Pet Emergencies, Pain Management, Puppy and Kitten Care, and Senior Pet Care. Team
The practice has 4 DVMs and a great tenured support team, maintaining a strong 2-to-1 staff-to-doctor ratio to ensure excellent patient care and collaborative support.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
