Job Description

Introduction
This AAHA-accredited and AAFP Cat Friendly Gold Standard hospital in Springfield, Oregon is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced team of three veterinarians. The practice provides advanced small animal medicine in a collaborative environment, with doctors rotating between three days of appointments and one dedicated surgery day each week. The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, with no on-call responsibilities, supporting an excellent work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and medical case management while building strong relationships with clients and their pets. You’ll enjoy a balanced schedule that includes dedicated surgery time, allowing you to develop both medical and surgical skills while working alongside an experienced and supportive veterinary team. The role offers the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine in a collaborative setting with access to modern resources and mentorship.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
