Introduction
Our client is a full-service animal hospital seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital has been serving its community for over 40 years and provides care for both small animals and large animals. With a strong reputation for high-quality medicine and compassionate service, this role offers the opportunity to join a well-established practice that supports both experienced veterinarians and new graduates through mentorship and a diverse caseload.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. There are no after-hours requirements, and flexible schedule options are available to suit full-time or part-time preferences.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a wide range of services including core care, wellness and preventative medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, geriatric care, and emergency services. The caseload is diverse, offering exposure to both routine and complex cases, and includes opportunities to work with both companion animals and large animals. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment tools, including digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, ECG/EKG, in-house laboratory, urinalysis, fecal testing, and a stocked in-house pharmacy. Facilities support a wide range of services, from preventative medicine to emergency and critical care. The practice offers surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, geriatric care, and comprehensive wellness services, creating an environment where every day presents new learning and professional growth opportunities.

Team
The hospital is home to two veterinarians supported by an experienced team of technicians and support staff. The culture is collaborative and mentoring-focused, with a commitment to professional development and the autonomy for veterinarians to practice with clinical freedom.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
