Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that is hiring an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Caring for cats and dogs, this established practice has been serving the Spring/Klein community for over 35 years.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves the full scope of general practice responsibilities, providing comprehensive care for cats and dogs. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry. The caseload includes a mix of scheduled appointments alongside same-day walk-in and urgent care cases. Doctor hours are open to discussion. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian, with the potential to grow into a leadership role.

Practice Details
The hospital is a recently renovated, well-equipped, AAHA-accredited facility offering a full scope of general practice services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry, alongside urgent care. The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and is closed on Sundays, with a daily lunch closure from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

Team
The team consists of two DVMs supported by a great team of support staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
