Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for cats and dogs and is hiring for an Associate Veterinarian position. This opportunity is open to both full-time and part-time candidates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of GP responsibilities, providing high-quality care to cats and dogs across a varied caseload. The role offers the opportunity to practice comprehensive veterinary medicine, including wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. Full-time veterinarians work four weekdays and participate in a rotating Saturday schedule, while part-time scheduling can be discussed. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 7:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. The practice is equipped with digital dental x-ray, digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house labs, and more, along with a fantastic surgical suite. The hospital is AAHA accredited and committed to using FearFree techniques where possible. In addition to providing the full scope of GP services, the practice also offers orthopedic procedures.

Team
The hospital currently has 2 DVMs supported by a great team of support staff. The practice offers a supportive and collaborative culture with a strong team-focused approach.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
