Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a practice providing full-service veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This well-established clinic focuses on delivering compassionate, high-quality care for dogs, cats, and exotics, with an emphasis on preventive medicine, surgery, and strong client communication.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for managing a varied caseload including wellness, surgery, and dentistry. Responsibilities include conducting examinations, performing surgical and dental procedures, delivering preventative care, and maintaining strong client communication. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering opportunities for development within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Practice Details
This is a general practice with an average daily patient volume of 8–15 cases per doctor and a support staff ratio of 2:1 doctor to technician. The clinic is equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house labs, and a dental suite, supporting a broad range of diagnostic and treatment capabilities. The practice fosters a collaborative, teaching-focused, and high-touch culture, with strong leadership support and a commitment to ongoing education and medical autonomy. Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a supportive and team-oriented working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
