Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a full-service companion animal practice in Spring Hill, Florida, just north of the Tampa Bay area. They are hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative team in a beautiful 5,700 square foot facility. This opportunity is open to veterinarians of all experience levels.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital opening hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, and closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The schedule is flexible, with hour-long lunch breaks built in. This is a full-time position.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role includes managing a varied caseload of medical and surgical cases during open hours. Key responsibilities include serving patients and clients with a relationship-based approach, collaborating with the clinical team and leadership, growing relationships within the practice and community, supporting the development of support staff through the internal LevelUp training program, and providing care across a wide range of services. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

The hospital is a modern, full-service facility equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, full in-house laboratories, and more. It is designed to support high-quality medicine and surgery while fostering professional growth. Services include wellness exams, vaccinations, wellness testing, diagnostics and laboratory, surgery and anesthesia, spay and neuter, dental care, wound care, parasite prevention and control, microchipping, nail trims, pain management, nutritional counseling, behavioral assistance, emergency pet services, and end-of-life care. The practice culture emphasizes collaboration, professional development, and delivering exceptional client and patient care.
Team
The hospital has two DVMs and a tenured support staff. The environment is supportive, team-oriented, and focused on mentorship and professional growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
