Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This is a small animal practice offering a range of general and specialized services, providing an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on high-quality patient care.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This opportunity has the flexibility to be a full or part-time position.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves examining and treating companion animals to diagnose illness or injury, performing surgical procedures, and prescribing medications as appropriate. The veterinarian will operate diagnostic equipment, collect samples, and interpret results while advising clients on preventative care, treatment plans, and long-term wellness. Responsibilities also include providing compassionate guidance through end-of-life care decisions. The position requires confidence in small animal surgery, with reproduction experience strongly preferred, alongside strong clinical judgment, procedural skills, and the ability to manage general practice medical cases independently. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
