Our client is a hospital providing care for small animal patients and is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing treatment plans, educating clients on preventative care and treatment options, and collaborating closely with a skilled support team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. The hospital’s walk-in model provides exposure to a diverse caseload that includes wellness care, senior pet care, urgent care, emergency cases, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. Surgical procedures include routine spay and neuter surgeries, tumor removals, abdominal and soft tissue procedures, orthopedic surgery, and biopsies. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital operates as a full walk-in facility, with surgeries scheduled in advance, ensuring a varied caseload and consistent access to medical cases throughout the day. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic technology, including full digital imaging capabilities, an in-house laboratory, and electrocautery surgery equipment to support accurate diagnoses and effective treatment planning. Services offered include wellness care, senior pet care, parasite control, dental care, diagnostic services, in-house laboratory testing, surgery and related services, emergency and urgent care, routine spay and neuter procedures, dentistry, tumor removal, abdominal and soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, and biopsies. The hospital also emphasizes preventative medicine through wellness plans designed for dogs and cats of all ages and supports an inclusive environment that serves a diverse client base. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm, and the practice is closed on weekends.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
