Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats and is hiring for an Associate Veterinarian position. Working Hours / Rota
The current hospital hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with the hospital closed on Sundays. Full-time is preferred but part-time is also available, and the team offers either 8- or 10-hour shifts. Weekend work is rotated among the team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing comprehensive care for dogs and cats, ranging from routine wellness to more involved medical cases and surgery. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, cold laser, and hands-free radiology. Services offered include cardiology, chemotherapy, dermatology, digital radiology, EKG, endoscopy, laparoscopy, OFA X-ray, reproductive services, soft tissue surgery, tonopen, ultrasound, adult and senior wellness, flea and tick control, microchipping, parasite control, preventive medicine, vaccinations, wellness exams and testing, allergy and itchy skin relief, anesthesia, dental care and dental X-rays, dentistry, ear checks, emergency care, euthanasia services, full diagnostics, general surgery, geriatric medicine, health certificates, health exams, hospitalization, in-house endoscopy, in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, in-office surgical suite, intensive care, internal medicine, isolation ward, pain management, periodontics, radiology, routine surgeries, spays and neuters, and urology.

Team
The hospital has 11 DVMs and a great support team, creating a supportive and collaborative environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
