Our client is a hospital providing care for mixed animal patients and is seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Vass, North Carolina. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will focus on patient monitoring and support throughout diagnostic imaging procedures while working closely with a highly skilled veterinary team. Responsibilities include overseeing patient care during imaging procedures, supporting diagnostic workflows, collaborating with referring veterinarians, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care. The role involves working with advanced imaging modalities including ultrasound, echocardiography, and computed tomography. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates who value collaboration, patient-focused medicine, and a supportive team environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is dedicated to providing advanced diagnostic imaging services for horses, cats, and dogs. Equipment and diagnostic capabilities include ultrasound, echocardiography, computed tomography (CT), nuclear scintigraphy, and advanced image-guided diagnostic procedures. Services offered for small animal patients include ultrasound, echocardiography, and computed tomography. Equine services include sedated distal limb CT, sedated skull CT, nuclear scintigraphy, ultrasound, echocardiography, pre-purchase ultrasound examinations, intralesional injections, intraarterial injections, cervical CSF centesis, ultrasound-guided fine needle aspirates, and ultrasound-guided biopsies. The practice focuses on supporting referring veterinarians through advanced diagnostics, accurate image interpretation, and collaborative case management. Hospital hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
