Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats and is seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced veterinarian or a new graduate to join an AAHA-accredited practice that combines advanced medicine, modern facilities, and a collaborative team environment. The hospital is currently undergoing exciting renovations and is committed to supporting professional growth through dedicated mentorship and advanced clinical resources.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care for dogs and cats, managing a varied general practice caseload that includes wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, emergency care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, rehabilitation, and general medicine. The successful candidate will work closely with an experienced veterinary team while building lasting client relationships and delivering exceptional patient care. Associates also have access to the VCA Scribe Program, allowing more time to focus on patient care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available for those beginning their careers.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited small animal hospital provides comprehensive veterinary services for companion animals within a modern, continuously improving facility that is currently undergoing renovations, including the addition of a new examination room. The practice follows hands-free and fear-free principles to promote patient wellbeing and team safety. Services include advanced care, animal rehabilitation, cold laser therapy, diagnostic imaging, digital radiology, EKG, OFA radiography, soft tissue surgery, Tonopen diagnostics, acupuncture, primary care, allergy and itchy skin treatment, anaesthesia, dental care, dental radiography, ear checks, emergency care, euthanasia services, full diagnostics, general surgery, geriatric medicine, health certificates, health examinations, hospice care, hospitalization, in-house laboratory services, in-house pharmacy, an in-office surgical suite, isolation facilities, pain management, routine surgeries, spays and neuters, preventative care, and the management of feline and canine diabetes. The hospital is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and is also associated with the Feline Veterinary Medical Association and recognised as a Cat Friendly Practice. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.

Team
The hospital is supported by a team of 5 DVMs and a great tenured support team. The veterinarians have between 5 and 32 years of service with the practice, creating a highly collaborative and experienced environment that values mentorship, teamwork, and continuous professional development for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
