Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital in Sonora, California seeking a Mixed Animal Veterinarian. The practice has been serving the community for over 45 years, providing care for cats, dogs, exotic pets, and large animals.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Mixed Animal Veterinarian will provide a wide range of services for companion animals, exotics, and large animals. Responsibilities include preventive care, routine wellness, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and internal medicine. Large animal care includes routine exams, herd health consultations, treatment for injuries, vaccinations and parasite prevention, health and travel certificates, reproductive services, milk quality testing, and equine dentistry by appointment. The position is open to veterinarians with a passion for high-quality medicine and excellent communication skills to build strong client relationships.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service veterinary clinic offering preventive care, surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, diagnostics, boarding, and urgent care. Services extend to cats, dogs, exotics, and large animals such as horses, sheep, cattle, goats, and pigs. Equine services include dentistry procedures such as bit seats, minor bone spur removal, and Performance Floating. The practice is AAHA-accredited and equipped with modern tools to support comprehensive medical services.

Team
The veterinarian will join a collaborative team of experienced doctors, technicians, and support staff, working closely with the Hospital Manager and reporting directly to the Regional Manager.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
