Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire a full or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their full-service small animal hospital. The practice is dedicated to providing high-quality veterinary care across preventative medicine, surgery, and dentistry, offering an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of GP responsibilities, delivering comprehensive medical and surgical care while managing a varied companion animal caseload. Responsibilities include performing patient examinations and medical work-ups, carrying out diagnostic procedures and surgery, maintaining accurate medical records, prescribing medications, and adhering to controlled substance protocols. You will also be responsible for communicating with and educating clients, collaborating with the Hospital Manager on operational priorities, monitoring hospitalized cases and attending rounds, supporting daily hospital workflows, and contributing to team efficiency and ongoing training initiatives. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with no weekend or evening coverage required, offering predictable hours and a consistent home hospital assignment. The practice provides the full scope of GP services, including vaccinations and preventative care, routine examinations, internal medicine, dental care, geriatric care, puppy and kitten care, emergency care, and surgery. The hospital is equipped with, but not limited to, an In-House Laboratory, Ultrasound, Digital Radiography with board-certified reports, and Digital Dental Radiography. Additional facilities include a dedicated surgical suite and three spacious exam rooms. The practice also operates a paper-light system supported by Avimark, AllyDVM, and Covet AI Scribe, reflecting its commitment to efficient workflows and high-quality patient care. The hospital fosters a collaborative culture focused on compassionate medicine, continuous learning, and building strong client relationships.

Team
You will be joining a team of 2 DVMs, supported by a highly tenured support team with a 2:1 technician-to-DVM ratio, creating a collaborative and efficient working environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
