Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital in Smyrna, GA, seeking a compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This well-established clinic provides exceptional care for cats and dogs, offering a welcoming environment where pets and clients are treated like family.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, with no Sunday hours. Both full-time and part-time schedules can be accommodated, with no after-hours or on-call duties, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The veterinarian will manage a diverse caseload including preventative care, dentistry, diagnostics, surgery, and internal medicine. The hospital values a client-focused approach and offers support for continued professional development.
Practice Details
The facility includes five large exam rooms, a dedicated surgical suite, an in-house diagnostic laboratory, ultrasound, digital and dental radiography, and multiparameter monitoring systems. The clinic emphasizes progressive medicine and comprehensive care, supported by modern equipment and a collaborative environment.
Team
The practice is currently home to 2 DVMs and a skilled support team. The environment is supportive, collaborative, and focused on professional growth, with an emphasis on high-quality patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
