Our client is a small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. This established practice provides comprehensive veterinary care for cats and dogs within a supportive, community-focused environment. The hospital offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated veterinarian looking to grow clinically in a steady-paced, team-oriented setting.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and is closed on weekends. This is a full-time position with no weekend or after-hours requirements, providing an excellent work-life balance within a consistent weekday schedule.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will handle a diverse range of cases, including wellness and preventive care, vaccinations, sick pet visits, surgery, dentistry, and diagnostics. The practice offers a balanced caseload ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys both medical and surgical work. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with strong mentoring and support available from the existing team.

Practice Details
The hospital is well equipped with in-house diagnostics, digital X-ray, and an in-house pharmacy, as well as dedicated areas for surgery and dentistry. Available services include wellness exams, vaccinations, spay and neuter procedures, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, senior pet care, microchipping, nutritional counseling, pain management, allergy and dermatology services, parasite protection, behavioral medicine, cold laser therapy, and end-of-life care. Additional services such as grooming, boarding, and pet wash facilities are also offered. The hospital promotes cat-friendly handling and a calm, compassionate approach to patient care.

Team
The practice is home to two DVMs supported by a highly skilled team of technicians and assistants. The clinic maintains an ideal doctor-to-tech ratio, ensuring that veterinarians are well supported in providing quality care. The environment is collaborative, steady-paced, and team-focused, fostering both professional development and strong camaraderie among staff.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
