Introduction
Our client is a small animal practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing two-doctor team in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The practice cares for companion animals and offers a broad range of services, making this opportunity well-suited to veterinarians with varied clinical interests. The hospital welcomes personable, enthusiastic, and motivated doctors and provides a supportive environment for veterinarians at different stages of their careers.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:00am to 1:00pm and from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. On Wednesdays, the hospital operates from 8:00am to 12:00pm, and it is also open on the second Saturday of each month, with confirmation advised. The hospital is closed on Sundays. They are open to discussing both full time and part time applicants.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will examine and treat companion animals to diagnose and manage medical conditions, interpret diagnostic results, and advise clients on preventative care and treatment options. Clinical responsibilities include surgery, dentistry, radiology, internal medicine, dermatology, and end-of-life care, as well as prescribing medication and maintaining accurate medical records. This position is suitable for veterinarians of varying experience levels, and the practice offers a supportive, collaborative environment to help clinicians develop and pursue their professional interests.

The practice provides comprehensive services including preventative care, surgical procedures, radiology, in-house bloodwork and diagnostics, dentistry, internal medicine, and dermatology. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
