Job Description
An independently owned veterinary clinic in West Virginia is seeking a dedicated and skilled veterinarian to join their team. This practice offers a flexible and supportive environment, with a focus on small animal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. The clinic primarily sees dogs and cats, but they are open to treating pocket pets and are willing to invest in the necessary equipment to support this interest if the candidate is passionate about it.
The clinic is equipped with digital x-ray, laser therapy, in-house labs (including IDEXX and CBC), and three exam rooms. They are also in the process of transitioning to a digital records system. Appointment times are generally 15 minutes, with flexibility depending on whether the patient is there for a sick or wellness visit. The clinic closes for lunch for around two hours each day and finishes early on Wednesdays.
They offer a four-day work week with no weekend shifts. The schedule is typically Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, with a slightly shorter day on Tuesdays and Fridays. The clinic values work-life balance and offers a supportive and collaborative work environment.
This opportunity is perfect for a veterinarian who values a flexible schedule, enjoys working in a close-knit team, and is committed to providing high-quality care to their patients.
