Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a mobile veterinary practice based in Albany, NY, serving the Capital Region. They are hiring a Mobile Veterinarian to join their team in providing peaceful in-home euthanasia services that honor the human–animal bond.

Working Hours / Rota
The practice operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. This is a full-time position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role focuses on providing compassionate in-home euthanasia services, allowing pets to pass peacefully in familiar surroundings with their families present. The position is open to experienced veterinarians who want to make a meaningful impact through client-centered, empathetic care.

Practice Details
The practice is dedicated to honoring the human–animal bond through end-of-life care in the home setting. Families served are deeply appreciative of the support provided, and veterinarians are offered autonomy, flexibility, and paid training in the practice’s compassionate approach.

Team
The team consists of 5 DVMs supported by a close-knit staff, creating a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
