Our client is a small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their compassionate and experienced team. This well-established practice provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats and takes pride in offering a welcoming, stress-free environment for both patients and clients. The hospital is Fear Free Certified, ensuring that every visit is as calm and positive as possible for pets and their owners.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and is closed on weekends. This role offers a structured weekday schedule, supporting a healthy work-life balance. Both full-time and part-time opportunities can be accommodated depending on the candidate’s preference.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care while developing strong relationships with clients. Duties include conducting physical examinations, performing surgeries, diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, and educating clients on preventative healthcare such as vaccines, nutrition, and wellness. The position requires maintaining accurate patient records and collaborating with the wider clinical team to ensure excellent patient outcomes. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and continued learning opportunities available.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment technology, including digital X-ray, ECG, and a full in-house laboratory for bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal testing, and cytology. A wide range of services are offered, including spay and neuter procedures, vaccinations, dermatology, dentistry, diagnostics, surgery, and wellness care. The hospital emphasizes client education and preventive medicine, ensuring pets receive the best possible care throughout all life stages. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
