Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a well-established, privately owned practice providing both large and small animal veterinary care and is looking to hire an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The practice sees cats, dogs, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, and other large and small animal cases, but would also be open to a small animal-only veterinarian. The practice is proudly privately owned.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice and urgent care responsibilities. An experienced veterinarian is preferred. Full-time doctors work four weekdays, while part-time schedules are available from two weekdays. There are no weekend requirements.

Practice Details
The practice provides a full scope of general practice services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry, alongside urgent care services. Appointment lengths depend on the individual case and are typically between 30 and 60 minutes. Equipment and facilities include digital CR X-ray, Abaxis in-house laboratory equipment, ultrasound, cold laser, four exam rooms, two mobile units, and a surgical suite. The practice is open Monday from 8:00am to 7:00pm, Tuesday and Wednesday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm, and Thursday and Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. It is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Team
The team includes two DVMs with a 2:1 support staff-to-doctor ratio.
