Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that is hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its established small animal team. Serving the community for over 20 years, this fast-paced practice combines a high standard of veterinary medicine with a large family feel, creating a welcoming environment for both clients and team members. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian looking to join a well-respected practice that values compassionate care, teamwork, and long-term client relationships.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will be responsible for the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including preventative medicine, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, dentistry, and ongoing patient care. The role offers the opportunity to work with a varied caseload while developing strong relationships with clients and their pets. Veterinarians of all experience levels are encouraged to apply, although candidates should possess confident medical judgement alongside compassion, empathy, and humility in order to build and maintain a loyal client base. The schedule consists of four days per week, Monday through Friday, with a rotating half-day on Saturdays and no on-call responsibilities, supporting a healthy balance between professional and personal commitments.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and remains closed on Sundays. As an AAHA-accredited practice, the hospital is committed to maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical excellence. The practice provides the full scope of general practice services alongside advanced dental care and laser surgery, creating a diverse and rewarding caseload for its veterinarians. Equipment available includes, but is not limited to, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, and digital dental radiography, supporting efficient diagnostics and high-quality treatment planning. The hospital is further supported by an isolation ward, an in-office surgical suite, and an in-house pharmacy, allowing for comprehensive patient care under one roof. The combination of modern facilities, advanced equipment, and a strong reputation within the community creates an excellent environment for veterinarians looking to practice high-quality medicine while continuing to develop their clinical skills.

Team
The hospital is home to a team of three DVMs supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. Together, the team works cohesively to provide the highest level of client and patient care. The collaborative environment encourages mentorship, teamwork, and professional development, creating a supportive workplace where veterinarians can continue to build their clinical expertise while working alongside experienced colleagues. The culture promotes excellence, accountability, and continuous development, ensuring both team members and patients receive the highest standard of care while fostering an environment where veterinary professionals can thrive and grow throughout their careers. Working alongside an experienced medical team provides valuable opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continued professional growth within a supportive clinical setting.
